We can’t wait for the energetic and galvanizing presence of Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser to descend on Scotia Festival for our first orchestral gala in three years! He has helped us design a packed program, with exciting showpieces by Waxman and Poulenc for our Guest Artists; two gems by historical African American composers; and the gloriously optimistic second symphony by Sibelius, the result of the great Finnish composer’s sojourn in the warmth of the Italian Riviera.
